My library
In case anyone is interested: The subject headings of my personal library, along with the total number of works in each category.
( Fiction Books )
( Literature Books )
( Language Books )
( Education Books )
( Great Books )
( History Books (including history of art and history of science) )
( Leather Books )
( Service and Protocol Books )
( Spirituality and Philosophy Books )
( Science Books )
( Travel Books )
( Comics and Humor Books )
( Reference Books )
( Miscellaneous Nonfiction Books )
( Totals and Top Subjects )
Lest it sound as though I'm rich, I hastily add that virtually all of the e-books I got for free (hurrah for online writers, public domain e-text archives, and Bookshare.org), while most of the print books were either library cast-offs or were bought for cheap - we're talking five cents per paperback - at the now-sadly-demised local used bookstore or at the still-happily-alive annual PTA booksale.
But still. That's a lot of books.
